The Silk Scarf

SETTING 

The story takes place at Oriental Plaza in Johannesburg, a shopping centre where the shops are owned by Indian people in Moghul Boutique. It was during the day time.

PLOT

Mrs Nebo was a rich woman. She had a husband named Clive Nebo. One day Mrs  Nebo went to the oriental plaza for shopping with her friend Margret, and then  while she was  walking from shop to shop she saw a beautiful Indian dress and decided to buy it . She also decided to buy a silk scarf in order to match with the dress  although in the shop were she bought the dress there were scarfs   which she wanted , she went to other shop were she found the scarf she was looking for. When asked about its price she realized that she don not  have enough cash so she wanted to buy with a cheque.   gave it to the shopkeeper ,( Mr  Sakur).The shopkeeper refused it because he did not have a law of  accepting cheques in his shop. Mrs Nebo felt humiliated and started arguing with the shopkeeper , when the other shopkeepers heard about the argument  they  came to see what was happening and they convinced  Mr  Sakur to give the scarf to Mrs Nebo but he decided to stick to his laws. One of the shopkeepers , Mr  Sader decided to give Mr Sakur  cash  gave the scarf to Mrs Nebo as a gift. 

Main Characters
Mrs Nebo and Mr Sakur, Mrs Nebo was of middle height, with heavy loins has privileged life and arrogant. She has a privileged life, because she does what ever she wants, as a result of her husband’s position. She also appears to be  arrogant i am saying this because of her rudeness and how she things  she is very important than others. Mr. Sakur is an Indian businessman, proud of himself and a man that  has integrity. Another character of r. Sakur is that he is a proud man and his pride is due to the fact that he rans his own busness, which is his Shop. Finally, he is a man of intergrity because he is a kind that does not let his rules to be disobeyed and he didint even let the minister's wife to break them.
